An evening walk exploring the fascinating world of bats along the Misbourne in Old Amersham. During the walk, you’ll have the opportunity to use bat detectors to listen to the echolocation calls of different bat species, observe their flight patterns, and learn about the vital role they play in the ecosystem. We will also look out for other wildlife along the river. This event is co hosted with Wild Amersham.

The route is short but we will be stopping at regular points to look out for bats. Please note that if rain is forecast the walk will be postponed. The evening in late September can be quite cold, please dress appropriately and bring a warm drink if you want.

If you have bat detectors, please feel free to bring them along.

Parking is available at Amersham Old town car park pay and display (RingGo)
