Primary
Use our educational offerings to bring your classroom topics to life!
We offer a wide range of sessions that can fit with your curriculum needs. Explore your local chalk stream and find out about the ecology, geographical and historical aspects of the river environment. We can also cover human impacts and water saving. We offer in school talks and workshops but can also facilitate trips to the river and see it in action.
We offer sessions for all ages and can be adapted for individual school needs.
Educational Visits
The best way for children to understand a chalk stream is to get out and experience one.
The Chilterns Chalk Streams project is able to lead schools visits throughout the Chilterns. For full details of our activities please download our Schools Programme, or contact our Education Officers.
If your school is in the South Chilterns (Wye, Misbourne, Ewelme, and Hamble) please contact Ceri Groves – cgroves@chilterns.org.uk
