This walk will not go ahead on Sat 15th July.

Join the Chilterns Chalk Streams Project Rivers Officer for a gentle stroll beside the Hamble Brook.

We have recently completed our biggest ever river restoration project here, returning around 1km of river to a more natural, meandering course and improving wetland habitats in the valley. We’ll explain the project. explore sections of the brook which are not usually accessible to the public, and discover some of the wildlife which has already moved in.

Additional information

This walk involves crossing uneven and sometimes boggy ground, and is walking through long grass so sturdy, waterproof boots and long trousers are recommended.

There is a pay and display car park adjacent to the Stag & Huntsman Pub, Hambleden (RG9 6RP)
