Upstream- Family friendly theatre performance

Lyra lives on the marsh; a water explorer extraordinaire. Recently, she has noticed things don’t seem quite right, the river’s getting cloudier, and even the otters don’t seem to play here anymore.
Brave Lyra camps out under the stars next to the water and her favourite willow tree. As daylight turns to moonlight, the tree comes to life, a spectacular 3 metre tall puppet called Old Mother River, with willow hair and a beautiful creased and crinkled face.
Together they dive into Old Mother River’s memory pool, discovering what has happened beneath the surface and how everyone can help protect our waters.

This very special theatre show will be airing its Chilterns debut at Chesham’s Hats Off festival.
No need to book, just come and find us in Chesham high street. The performance will be near to the town hall.
