As the sun goes down we will be walking along the River Chess in Latimer to see if we can detect any bats and spot any night time wildlife.

There will be bat detectors available to help us spot these amazing creatures and if you have any, feel free to bring them along. The walk will be short but will be stopping in lots of places for our wildlife watching.

We have been kindly allowed access to Latimer Park estate by Restore Hope. Although the event is free we suggest a donation of £5 per person which can be paid using this link DONATE – Restore Hope Latimer

Places for this event are restricted. If you are unable to make it please let us know so we can open the spaces to others.

In the event of wet weather the event will be rescheduled- attendees will be informed by 12pm of the day of the event.

What to bring

Please come dressed appropriately for the weather, the evenings can be quite cold and damp in October.

You can bring a head torch to help you walk in the dark, but this is not compulsory as we will be walking in group. Feel free to bring your own bat detector if you have one and a warm drink if you want.

Parking

Parking is available on site at Restore Hope.
