Chalk Stream Birds walk 2026

Join us for a leisurely stroll along the river Misbourne and Amersham “wetlands”, where we’ll be spotting all kinds of beautiful birds in their natural habitat.

The walk will be around 5-6 km and will be led by experienced birders and will include insights into the work we have been doing in the area and plans for the future.

The walk is suitable for adults and children over 10 years.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Feel free to bring warm drinks, snacks and binoculars if you have them!

The meeting point will be in the Amersham Old town Carpark HP7 0UT, where parking is also available (RingGo). The walk will start and end at the car park.
