Chalk Stream and Wetland Meadows Project
The Chalk Streams and Wetland Meadows Project, funded by the Green Recovery Challenge Fund finished in March 2023. The 18 month project produced some fantastic achievements. We delivered our biggest river restoration project so far on the Hamble Brook, reached more school children than ever before through our education programmes, and improved access, signage and interpretation along our most popular walking route – The Chess Valley Walk. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved with our partners, the Chilterns National Landscape, the Chiltern Society and the Chiltern Rangers.
