The Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Water Vole Recovery Project was set up in 1998 and is the country’s longest running project dedicated to water vole conservation. Julia Lofthouse has been managing the project and helping the Chilterns Chalk Stream Project and River Chess Association to survey and monitor voles on the River Chess over the past 17 years.
Come along to learn more about water voles, their ecology, how our local populations are faring and the conservation work going on to help them.
