Apologies, but due to flooding at the site we have had to cancel this event.

Bring the whole family to Old Amersham to learn about the minibeasts and fish that live in the clear waters of the River Misbourne – a globally rare chalk stream!

Come along and enjoy a chance to go chalk stream dipping. Wear wellies or water shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit wet. We’ll supply the nets and all the other equipment you need.

Just come on down – no need to book!

Children must be accompanied by an adult. You remain responsible for supervising your own child(ren) at all times.

Directions

The closest postcode is HP7 0HL. Entrance to the Pay & Display car park is between the Tesco’s roundabout and the war memorial. Walk towards the back of the carpark and you will see the path on the left to Church Mead.

About

The landscape, wildlife and cultural heritage of the Chiltern Hills has been shaped by its underlying chalk bedrock – formed millions of years ago, but still having an impact today. The Chilterns Chalk Festival celebrates this connection to our landscape, both ancient and modern. Find out more.
